Hello. I'm Joe Dubner. I receive a non-trivial amount of email for strangers at my own email address (jdubner@gmail.cóm), one that
I've had for many years. (Once I even received a PayPal authorization for $370. Honest to God!)
Rather than attempt to track down the senders or intended recipients and to ask them to correct their errors,
I'll just post some of the messages here.
(I don't post all; most are spam like this one -- thank you very much Jay, Jennifer, Jeff, . . .)
If you are the
intended recipient, feel free to view and enjoy your message. If you are the sender, for gosh sakes, please send more! After all, what's
a web site without fresh content?
Jason:
While I cannot invite you to another casino night, I would like to invite you to a special event as my guest. May 25 is AIPAC’s Chicago Annual Event, which this year is featuring retired
General and former CIA Director David Petraeus. You can click here for more information:
http://events.aipac.org/Chicago/
Tickets for this event are normally $100/person, or a table of 10 for $750.
I am however sponsoring at least one table of Bernard Zell parents to attend the event as my guests. Your price of admission is only that you show up on May 25 open to becoming a member of AIPAC.
I know the demands on your time and charitable resources are significant already, but our work on Capitol Hill, in every Congressional District in the country and on college campuses from
coast to coast is irreplaceable and impossible without the support of people like you. For example,
last week Israel shot down a missile fired from Syria into Israel. This was the first live action use of the Arrow 3 missile defense system. In 2016, AIPAC helped secure $146 million for the Arrow program, as part of $487 million in U.S.-Israel missile
defense funding. In total, AIPAC has lobbied for and the United States has provided more than $2.5 billion for the Arrow program since 1990. This doesn’t happen without the support of people like you.
If you can make it, please let me know, and I will take care of the rest.
See you around school and I hope on May 25.
Dan
